Saturday cannot come soon enough. The week has been really tiring. but compared to school life, the time at work sure passes much faster. one more week! anyway, after 3 days of filing, i have been promoted to managing director(: so what i did was scan name cards. yup. some improvement indeed. at least i get a personal office and the com and now, without work, whatever shall i do 0.o Yesterday, Yumin and I went to MOE Boena Vista (??) for SL. What did we do? We ended up addressing envelopes and burning and labelling 80 CDs. Child labour anyone? Some SL this is! I certainly didn't learn anything from it o.o Come monday and we're going to start WEP! I hope we don't end up addressing enveloped and stuff. If you ask me, the only good thing about WEP is the $$$, (if there is) when you get stuck with a sucky job. oh well. I hope getting paid 40 bucks a day is worth it(: haha and yes qingyun, i did say i will treat you when i get my first paycheck! (: lunch at Bukit timah hawker centre, yeah? XD that aside, I AM SO GOING TO GET MARRIED IN AUSTRALIA! it's super cool! pun intended. ahaha the weather i mean. nice weather, nice garden. Beats singapore hot and humid weather! a day in a wedding gown in singapore would just melt you down 0.o Went shopping the day we landed. second day was the wedding! It was pretty cool and everything since it was the first time i really attended something this formal. last time was when i was 7? Dinner was unusual. haha after a few days of aussie food i missed the food in singapore. This coming from someone who used to wish we had fish and chips everyday! Stayed in Sydney another day then we flew to melbourne! and promptly froze to death. the weather there was 10 degrees, (note: it was supposed to be nearing summer?!) and all we had was a shirt and a jacket. grand total of 2 layers. smart yeah. I bring the term, lips were blue with cold to an all new level. Melbourne was fun but i still prefer gold coast! anyway, we drove 4 hours to the great ocean road and went to see the 12 apostles. i think its 11 left now(: as usual, the winds were so strong everyone nearly had frostbite. Geog students should all go there! hahaha At night we went chinatown and had japanese food. haha we were all sick of pastas and pizzas and fish and chips. checked into our studio apartments near chinatown! first time i ever stayed in one! had a kichenette and everything(: We went to pick strawberries too! ended up dispersing (to put it in a nice way) one box of stawberries we picked cos it turned up all mushed and rotten. Drove to phiilp island and saw penguins! Sat in the freezing cold for an hour before we saw little black dots known as penguins coming to shore. then it started raining. the penguins were cute, that's if you could see them. i haven't worn my contacts for over a month (every since eoys, go figure) we spent the remaining time going to a MUSUEM. hahaha i refused to at first. i mean, a MUSEUM?? but it turned out quite cool! had dino exhibits and life sciences... even how toilets work. den we paid 40 aussie bucks to see a show in the imax theatre. i personally don't get the cartoon but it was the 3D effects that was nice. after that was BYEBYE MELBOURNE HELLO SINGAPORE. my dad happened to see a cute chubby aussie baby at the airport, so he said to me "LOOK AT THAT THING! SO CUTE! let's bring one home and treat it as a pet!" he will get arressted if the parents heard this. i like australia. now i know why everyone migrates there! ugh. its so hot. i am going swith on the aircon now! TOODLES IT'S BEEN AGES SINCE END OF EOYS. i have been partying non stop(: this i have to blog. i shoved my chem paper into my dad's face. Dad: What's this? WOW, I HAVE SUCH AN INTELLIGENT DAUGHTER. almost full marks! Me: Uhm, it's over 60 Dad: hahaha, DON'T LIE. Me: -rolls eyes and points to the instructions on the front page- Dad: JESUS CHRIST! so i decided to let him recover from his shock before i scared him further with my english chinese math physics and bio. let me tell you how many mum and brother greeted me: Mum: It's okay, i can take it. HOW MANY DID YOU FAIL. Brother: HEY LOSER. DID YOU FAIL CHINESE? -proceeds to snort at me- ONLY MY DAD THINKS IM INTELLIGENT. thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- exams aside. WELL DONE 308 for netball carn((: let's win again next year! hahaha. and I WANT TO WATCH PRESTIGE! everyone around me is saying its nice. HUIWEN, I DON'T CARE. WATCH WITH MY BEFORE I FLY OK. |
