Chinese lessons are totally.. undescribable. I can't believe I took up Chinese of my own accord?! The teacher seriously sings a lullaby for the lessons and lulls everyone to sleep. Plus, I'm having withdrawal symptoms waay bad. I even miss MO and that's saying a lot. Miss 6K and Fann ): I think I'll just crash 6K for lectures, if you guys still welcome me haha. Anyway Fann, hope you're having not too bad a time in NJ. We shall continue to sms each other and whine about the lack of eyecandies : D Meanwhile, I hope RJ doesn't kick me out if I fail all my lecture and tutorial tests because I have this strong feeling that I'm going to. Woohoo. But then again, if I get kicked out, maybe then I wouldn't have to deal with all the crap. Story of my life, yeah. A Very Belated Birthday Post! Relatively speaking, this year's birthday did not differ much from the other years. Except with the exception of having a few cakes. THANKS TO 408 FOR CELEBRATING IT WITH ME AT RAFFLESIA! You guys are the BEST class I could ever ask for. I mean, which other classes now still meet up for monthly Bfestes and gatherings!! Big thanks especially to Jasmine and Yanyee for the cake, Zhiying for That girl can lie so easily and not pay her $50 bucks library fines (yes, FIFTY BUCKS. She just opened her huge watery big eyes and pretended not to know anything. Tadah, she just saved $50), but the excuse she came up with to get me to go to Rafflesia was seriously... ... haha I cannot think of a word to describe it. ZY: Hey Chng! We have ISLE meeting tomorrow morning! Me: WE DO??? HUH?! (and I believed her for about 3 seconds, but then everything clicked. So I started laughing. Pretty soon, Jas, ZY and I were laughing over the sad fact that the surprise is not a surprise anymore! But then I still played along : D ) Anyway, I headed to Rafflesia, thinking that Zhiying wanted to buy time since we would be celebrating in school or something. I think i caught them unawares when I walked in. Everyone was like, "Oh uh, SURPISE?". I can remember Sherry's blur face very clearly : D You know, her trademark blonde face : D Thanks guys for all the cards (esp JiaHui, Zhiying and Fann!) and birthday wishes (i'm too lazy to name everyone) as well as Qiuping and Peiting's recorded message since they couldn't be there. I look forward to my belated birthday presents hahaha. Seriously, if not for 408 I think I will just shrivel up and die in RJ. HAHA Yes, feel my overwhelming love for you guys! CAN'T WAIT FOR OUR CLASS PULLOVER! We're going to pwn RJ : D By the way, this is JiaHui's lovely hand-drawn card.  Me: Eh, how come the cherry got legs?? JiaHui: !@#$%^&*( What legs! This is THE CREAM!! Do you get it or not?! (and she looked very agitated I thought she wanted to punch me. haha but not my fault what, you drew this card at 12am, so you must have not been vey awake since they look like legs.) Okay, I just sought a second opinion and apparently it's just me, because noone else thought it looked like legs. Oops? PS and stupid Bhong, stop calling me grandma!! PPS Yes Jiahui I even BOLDED YOUR NAME. Aren't you delirious with joy! EDIT! Wendy Wong deserves honourable mention because she messaged me at 12am on the dot! Even though my handphone lagged and I recieved exactly 22 messages 3 days later. lol --- Met up with Munchin' Mamas for our food tour to Tiong Bahru Market (http://munchinmamas.blogspot.com/ updated! We have recruited new members! : D). After Jasmine left, ZY, YT and I retreated to Yunting's room, which was heaven. It has TV WITH CABLE, STERO, COMPUTER and FOOD. If I had those in my room, I will never come out of it. Basically all we did was fangirl over pretty boys. I miss my fellow blonde very much! ): You bring out the blonde in me, seriously. I will always remember those times with JTeo and our acapella group which never failed to entertain everyone. We are good, man! : D --- A few days later, we had a spontaneous sleepover at Zhiying's place (since her parents were overseas), which was conveniently located across RJ. Yunting, Pingfang, Yuxuan, Jasmine, Zhiying and I had Bitching session #184756 (We should totally set up a club called the Bitchin' Mamas). After YT, PF and Jas left, the 3 of us just lazed our asses off. As usual, I was relegated to the sofa (improvement from Wendy's sleepover eh, since I ended up on the floor the other time) in the middle of the night, while the other 2 pigs snored away happily. But THANKS FOR HAVING US OVER, ZHIYING! We should do it more often : D, even though I slept through my consecutive physics, math and chem lecture.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! While on the subject of love... Fanglin: CRYS, GIMME A ROSE : D of bain maries and bourbons: crys, if you give fang a rose, I DEMAND ONE TOO. ___crystaaal*: hahaha SO WE ALL SEND TO EACH OTHER??? man, aren't we going end up with a bunch of roses. of bain maries and bourbons: no i'm just gonna get 3. one from you and one from fang Fanglin: hahah wait who's the 3rd one from? ;) ___crystaaal*: herself lor. ......... Speaking of roses, Entre screwed up and I didn't get the all the roses I was supposed to get! Plus, I was so sad the whole morning because both the roses from the TripLs got sent to 3K instead of 6K. How can they get that mixed up?? 3 and 6 do not even look remotely alike! Thanks for all the cookies, brownies, chocolates and notes from everyone! Sheena, Yumin and Yanyee! Your cookies were nice : D I can already feel my waistline expanding. Yuxuan, I shall reply your note soon! hahaha Pangseh-ed 408 Bfeste for Jiahui and Huiwen. PUBLIC APOLOGY TO CHERYL AND HER TEAM MEMBERS (actually cheryl, I think I was in your team you know): Dear Cheryl Ang and team, I sincerely apologise for my From, Your favourite fellow team member : D Pingfang was supposed to turn up for our little gathering today morning in the canteen. But our VIP did not arrive after all, (she was the one who initiated the meeting in the first place -.-) so Sherry, Yuxuan and I left to go to BB town. Yes, I wanted to crash BB town, but I freaked out because I was the only rose among the grass and that felt too weird. : D Luckily, I saw a beacon of light when Lisa appeared in front of me. So I grabbed her and together we went to roam the school. Mary and Nurul were saying how I am a bad CCA member. I tell you, compared to Lisa, I am considered a very responsible and active member! Lisa: See, I have flower wrapping for Entre which is on Wed..Recre Netball also on Wed and library balloon sculpting ALSO on Wed. I'm so screwed please! Me: hahaha so what are you going to do? Go for all? Lisa: No. I'm going to go home. -.- But I admit it is a smart idea! hahaha Me: But why would you want to go home?? Lisa: Because it's the day before Valentine's Day! I see no sense in that. ---- Our trebuchet rocked : D 5200 points with 2 bulls-eyes! If I change class and we make it into the finals, I'm going to barge my way into the team : D PE was exceptionally fun today, especially "Steal the Balls" game with Cheryl, Fann, Joanna, Sheena, Sandra, Yuanyuan and Lynette. I shall name the 8 of us the CheaterBuggers. Initially I didn't had much reaction about changing classes, BUT I THINK I'M GOING TO MISS 6K LOADS. )): hahaha hello cheaterbuggers, don't you like our new name? So apt right! : DD I hope everyone had an enjoyable Chinese New Year holiday! I can't say the same about my oranges though. They resided in my bag the whole of the festive season. On Tuesday, Danial gave everyone oranges bought from Sheng Siong. I thanked him, put them in my bag and conveniently forgot all about it until today. Oops.  The lovely orange before CNY I must have sat on them at some point and juice oozed out of the poor mistreated oranges. At the end of the CNY hols, (i.e. a few hours ago), I found this.  Not so much smiling anymore, I spend the better part of the night scrubbing mould away from my bag. Total ewness ): I dreamed about my grandfather yesterday. I don't know if it means anything, but I dreamed that we were having a chat. My mum entered my dream at some point in time. Hmm. But then I can't really remember what is was about, I can't even tell you if we conversed in Cantonese/Chinese/Tamil. For those who didn't know, my grandad passed away 4 days ago. It was pretty much a shock, since he didn't seem very sickly and stuff. But the doctor says it was due to old age. At the very least, it was pretty much quick, painless and not in the hospital, so I hope he's in peace where ever he is now. I was never that close to him, like how close I am to my grandmother, but the notion of knowing that a close relative of yours passing away is enough to put everything into perspective. Anyway, I still managed to embarrass myself greatly despite all the happenings. I went to my grandparent's house with my dad. My dad proceeded to the wake to oversee the preparations and told me to head up to my grandparent's house. I pressed the doorbell once I was outside the doorstep and thought to myself, "Why is the door repainted green? It's so ugly now...". Meanwhile, a family of 4 was approaching my grandparent's place too and I thought that they were here to offer their condolences. Man: Who are you looking for? Me: Uhm, my grandfather... ... (I didn't want to say that he passed away. They would know right? Otherwise why would they be here?) Man: Your grandfather? (looking very confused) Me: Yeah.. Man: ??? ??? Me: He passed away. Man: Your grandfather passed away??? Me: ??? ??? (Why is this man so strange?) Eons later, when everthing clicked.. Me: OMG, I'M SORRY I GOT THE WRONG HOUSE. And I ran away as fast as possible before my face burned up. The thing is, the HDB layouts are all identical! How was I supposed to know I got the wrong block? ): At least I wasn't like Yuxuan, who, when supposed to be praying to her grandmother, prayed to the wrong person. ........... Yesterday, other then our interesting GP lessons ( read earlier post) , was a very fun-filled trebuchet making session. hahaha Unlike the other group who did calculations prior to building their trebuchet, we just went and anyhow whacked. Anyhow whack we did, we whacked out a trebuchet which was not only workable, but also aesthetically pleasing : D Chem later was the most relaxed chem lesson I had in about 4 years. Teddy bear is our chem tutor : D Danial/Muz (I don't know who) to Teddy Bear: Ever since HE (referring to Kanan) came here, he's been teaching us all the vulgarities! So that's why now I become like that. Teddy Bear: hahahaha! Really? Teach me, I also want to learn! and everyone was like omg?? .......... ATTENTION! Munchin' Mamas blog has officially been set up! Kudos to JasYong who took 10 years. But nevertheless it isn't disappointing! We are currently recruiting members! : D Visit http://munchinmamas.blogspot.com ! I am back to bitch more about MO. I'm sorry, but the more I see her, the more I want to sew up her mouth. We were doing a summary in "exam conditions", i.e no talking, sitting away from each other. But exam conditions in MO's terms simply means that you cannot move at all, except for your pencil, otherwise she will have a fit. MO: TIME'S UP! PENS DOWN! Since I exceeded by 10 words for the summary, I thought I'd cancel out my last line. I assure you, cancelling out the last line took about 0.1 second. BUT NO. MO's laser eyes just had to catch me during my gross misdeed! The horrors! MO: YOU!! Did you just cancel our your last line?! DID YOU? me: (shocked into silence) uhm. MO: Ok, so I will cancel out your last 2 words okay?? me: Oh er okay, uhm, can I write my word count? MO: No, you may not. Sensing my pissed off look, Fann turned around and mouthed/mumbled "Chill!" MO: FANN, THIS IS YOUR FIRST VERBAL WARNING. (read: "Rule #1487 No monosyllabic words after exams even when the papers are collected" in MO's rule book. Thus, it was this unfortunate rule which caused Fann to get her first verbal warning.) Fann: What the hell?! (Of course she didn't say it loud enough for MO to hear, otherwise she would have broken Rule #13684: No vulgarities/swearing during class, which, sad to say, MO herself has broken this golden rule.) At this point, I found the whole situation hilariously funny, so I started snickering and trying to conceal my laughter. Sorry Fann, I wasn't really laughing at you, but the whole situation was so stupid I needed to laugh. MO (whips around so fast that I couldn't swallow my laughter in time) : YOU! Don't laugh at your friend! That shut me up immediately. I swear, she only knows me as "YOU!". Best. |
