Although school officially started on Monday, partying did not cease on Sunday, but continued after school on Monday and will probably last up until the end of the week. Yes, I miss my sanity (Huiwen, I hope you learnt to use the correct word now) and I want it back. Rushed to Fairprice Finest after school with Yuxuan and shop for ingredients for our little cookout : D Auntie Yuxuan even bought her neon orange bag to put all our ingredients to "save the environment". I applaud her for her effort haha. 2 coconuts, minced pork, mangoes, burger buns, 2 cups of youghurt, cherry tomatoes and an onion. 16 bucks in total, about 8 bucks each. 1. RECIPE FOR DOUBLE BLISS DELUXE CHEESBURGER Step 1: Chop the onion into little bits (and try not to cry while you're at it). Mix the minced meat, egg, salt, pepper, sesame sauce. Condiments/seasoning to be added at your own discretion! Step 2: Use your hands and mould the minced meat into patties! Step 3: Then, you fry the patties. I'm sorry to say that YX did all the frying because I was too chicken to go near the wok. It's also the reason why I don't have pictures of her frying haha. She added so much oil the entire wok was spitting and sizzling so much. Plus, at some point it time, water got into the wok and the entire thing exploded much to my horror. I thought we were all going to die. While she was frying, I was miserably trying to chop the freaking coconut and mangoes, which took me about an hour. Chopping the coconuts are not easy okay! As for the mangoes... well, the seed was damn big it took up almost the entire fruit. Look at all the marks the knife made on the coconut. I was desperately hacking at it for the past half hour to no avail. Step 4: Melt the cheese in the microwave. Step 5: Arrange the food nicely on the plate and voila! 2. SALAD SURPRISE Step 1 (and only 1) : Boil the shrimps. Shred the lettuce. Slice the tomatoes. Arrange : D Important tip of the day: Learn to multi-task! YX and I realised that if we bought canned fruits and the pre-chopped coconut, it would probably save us an extra hour. Fine dining for 100 bucks? Nah, we give you fine dining for 8 bucks! Felt so full after lunch, we slacked around, watched DVDs but ended up sleeping for an hour, me on her tatami mat and her on the sofa. LOL. We'll be going asian next : D --- Meanwhile, our GPP still isn't approved (it is forever going to remain unapproved sigh). But we managed to conduct our interview today, faked our survey (otherwise we might just end up with really dismal results), finish up our presentation which is going to be on Friday. Finally headed home at 10pm. The reason why we took so long was probably because we it took us ages to get started. We spent half the time trying to find a socket, while the other half, we were was just slacking around doing nothing. We had a lot of fun at http://www.failblog.org/ before we started though -.- Tri: Eh, we better start doing already. Joanna: YEAH! Let's start now lah. Muz: EH I FOUND THE WEB. Tri/Joanna: WHERE WHERE? I WANNA SEE (all thoughts of PW forgotten as we all turn to stare at the screen intently) Anyway, our personal favourite: Backwards B Misread the email from BenTan so I thought we had to do Tut 8B before Monday. Apparently not, because I missed out his other email, where he changed his mind about Tut 8B. Spent the entire morning doing the tut, (which is not even 1/4 done btw) and missed 408's gathering ): Completed a few more questions with help from QY (haha someone tell me why my math sucks so bad.) before I set off to meet JH at the mrt. Living up to her reputation, she was late again! So we had to keep Wendy waiting oops. I can't remember what we did, but I know our outing included a lot of assanine remarks from Wendy and spasticated comments from JH which just made me go -__- Basically, our outing can be summed up into these pictures. We had a lot of fun with JH's camera with cool photo effects! Because JH was late in the morning, we decided to cross her out hahaha Wendy (no matter how many times she denies it) loves us, hence she decided to buy drinks for us! JH and I camwhoring while Wendy buys our drinks. The drinks came and we were wondering what kind of drinks Wendy bought for us! Hmm. So, we decided to have a taste of it! Trip Ls : DD after 6 months of not hanging out! PS No, we did not pose according to the storyline. It was purely out of my own imagination LOL. "Stop and stare, you think you're moving but you go no where..." - OneRepublic Yup, that's the theme song for the month of mugging madness, I stare at my notes, looking at those little black dots they call words swimming across the page. Then the radio would suddenly blast out the song, That's right. I think I'm moving, but I'm still on the paragraph for the past few hours. That about sums up the entire holidays, yeah. BUT Salvation is SWEET. For a period of time anyway, until the papers are given back. I will be over the moon if I pass 2 subjects out of 4, but things are looking quite bleak, considering in every exam I always forget to bring my brain along. Oops. (Yes, I do have one thank you very much, just that it's not with me most of the time. shrugs.) Hmmm, nothing much to blog about now, because the past few weeks I've been slogging my guts out, so much that I had cramps and fever on 2 consecutive days. My nose starting bleeding before Math. LOL I seriously cannot imagine how I'm going to get past promos. Meanwhile, the past hell of a week passed with a lot of sms-ing to other fellow people in the same sampan as me. Me: haha When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! (don't know what transpired me to say that lol) JH: No, when life gives you lemons, make grape juice and show off to everyone how you did it! Somehow, I don't think I can make much lemonade, much less grape juice. -- I'm too lazy to blog about Thailand, much less post up the pictures. Another time maybe : D Shall go fiddle around with my super chio new iPod now and watch the unpirated DVDs which I bought from Thailand : D It's time to PAR-TAY. For the weekend at least. ON HIATUS! That's right, i'm swearing off the computer, or at least blogging, until after CTS : D So my Thailand entry will probably be up after CTs unless I'm too lazy to blog. Meanwhile, 2 weeks before Chem CTs and my water molecule looks like this: ![]() I know, I know, I amaze myself too. I was wondering for a whole full minute why the electrons of the H and O just doesn't tally. (If you can't tell what the hell is wrong with it, you are so doomed.) It opens at 10am, so by the time it was 9.55am, there were like about 50 or so people waiting outside the doors. Peopl were standing directly in front of the sliding doors. When the doors slid open, you could almost hear a collective sigh of relief and hear the cheering and whooping (because is was super duper hot waiting outside.) Once the doors were opened, it was like a great mad rush inside. It reminded me of the amazing race. No, I wasn't at the Cilck 5 concert- Get this, I WAS QUEUING UP OUTSIDE THE LIBRARY. That was certainly a first for me. WHO QUEUES OUTSIDE A LIBRARY, TELL ME?? DURING THE JUNE HOLIDAYS? Apparently, a lot of people do. Usually I do all my mugging at home, but for the past week, I realised that a change of environment is really vital, because all I do all day is eat and sleep with about 1 hours worth of notes-reading. June saw the arrival of the Great Singapore Sale... as well as the mugging season for us. But I never thought that these 2 would be intertwined at some point. Or at least, the queuing up and chionging part. I was messaging QY and we were arranging what time to meet the day before. QY: We need to be there before the library is open!! What time does the library open? Me: DON'T BE STUPID. 12PM can or not, we mug after lunch : D Uh, opend at 9 I think. QY: Cannot, confirm no space! Sure have to queue. Me: hahahaha are you kidding me. You think GSS is it?! Alas, we ended up reaching Jurong Regional Library at the ungodly hour of 8.30 am, and found out that the library opens at 10, not 9. Ooops? Stuff like these happens at me all time. (I mistakenly got my mum to drop me off at Chinese Garden when I was supposed to be at Lakeside a few days ago.) So after an hour of breafast and my whining that it's really too early to start mugging, QY dragged me over to wait outside the library, where there was already a queue forming. Of course, nothing interesting happened during the course of our mugging (I am proud to say we lasted from 10am to 7pm, with about 2 hours break in between : D Somehow, I still don't feel very accomplished!) Oh right, there was the security guard patrolling around the library and deliberately picking on us for stupid things -.- Whatever, I bet his life as a security guard is so boring he has to go around scolding people! Can't be bothered to elaborate. Quote of the day: Angmoh: Why is everyone studying?? (right, she missed out the fact that it IS a library in the first place...) Her Singaporean friend: Oh Singaporeans LOVE to study. You bet we do. PART 2: CLIMB At that time, the perks of being in EXCO was that we were invited to the reception with the grassroots after CLIMB ended. I was asking Muquan about how XXX looked like. (I dare not type the name or even the initials for fear of getting sued by the constituency lol) Me: Is she the fat one? MQ (ponders for very long): Yeah, quite! Later on when we saw her... Me: Eh, she very fat meh?? Not fat at all what?! MQ: Oh. I think I saw wrongly hahahaha. But if you asked me if she's tall, I'll say yes. Me: HUH? She very tall meh?! (XXX was about my height and that's not saying a lot) So I stared Me: OH RIGHT. ... and we both burst into raucous laughter. There came a point in time whenever Kelvin appeared in front of me, I'll just go OMG SHIT. Can't help it, his entire persona bodes evil. hahaha cause everytime he appears it means that I'll have to do work, everytime he talks to me on msn, it means I'll have to do more work. So I told him just that, while he was swinging some random bucket which was supposed to be returned to some person in Boon Lay. Since noone claimed the bucket after CLIMB, someone had to take it home and he was conveniently swinging it. Kelvin: Okay lah, don't bully you anymore. You are a really good secretary! Me: (eyeing him suspiciously) Oh yeah? Kelvin: Yeah, and secretaries do all the saigang work anyway. So you must bring the bucket home! I don't want to carry in on the train! And he proceeds to thrust it into my face. I wanted to tell him that I am not bringing the freaking bucket home and all I wanted to do was place the bucket in front of him and ask him to kick it, but I got distracted by another conversation taking place. They were discussing about Jeremy's bathing habits during ALPS (which I missed unfortunately due to a certain chin injury but Jiahui insisted that I skipped it on purpose). Jiahui: I still remember your towels lah! You brought damn a lot please. and how many bottles of water did you bring?? Jeremy: 5 towels and 4 litres of water to bathe! Everyone: ?!?!? OMG. Jeremy: EH THIS IS CALLED HYGIENIC! Not like you (refers to jiahui) never bathe at all! Long hair some more please?! But we all thought 5 towels and 4 litres of water (solely for washing purposes) was kind of extreme. Wondered how he survived OBS lol. Meanwhile, Kelvin had to go around stuffing the bucket into people's faces. In the end, he took it home anyway -.- While deciding on where to eat... Suddenly everyone turned to me. Jeremy: Let's eat at Crystal Jade! For some reason, they found that comment extremely funny. Later on, MQ was suggesting again that we should eat at Crystal Jade. Me: You know, my grandfather set Crystal Jade up? My sister is named Jade so he named it after us. MQ: REALLY? (gives a look of amazement which noone can ever duplicate) Me: Yeah. MQ: REALLY MEH? Me: No. --- So we ended up in the food court in the end. After dinner, everyone protested against having the EXCO meeting so we adjourned I didn't realised the exco was a bunch of superbly retarded people. There were a whole load more convos which are guaranteed to make you rolls your eyes in disbelief but I can't be bothered to type out anymore. Lol, this entire post is ridiculously long and I shan't bore you guys with more details. Thanks to Bhong and Wendy for entertainment while I was about to rot in the freezing LT : D But oo bad, I didn't manage to scope out any chicks for you, aw. hahaha. Next time maybe! |
